I know HSA gives me a technical call about a half an hour to an hour before my free trial lesson. What does a technical call entail?

A technical call is one of the services our customer service team provides to all of our students before their first lesson. The purpose of the call is to make sure that there are not technical issues during the lesson, so that you may enjoy your time with the teacher and get the most out of the experience.

During the call, we will perform a speed test of your computer, as well as a Skype video call test. Conducting this call beforehand will allow us to diagnose and correct any technical problems before the lesson. We will also ask you a few questions about the student taking the lesson to pass onto the teacher so they can adequately prepare.

The technical call generally takes 5-10 minutes. To ensure the call goes smoothly, please have Skype downloaded to your desktop beforehand.
